PLEASE NOTE

We are located at Quito Center, at north of The Old Town, close to La Alameda park and one block East from the new building of MINISTERIO DE TURISMO (at the start of the Itchimbía hill). Close to places like Secret Garden Hostel, Guayunga Hostal, San Blas Hostal, Marsella Hostel, Revolution Hostel and other similar places recommended by The Lonely Planet guide book.

DIRECTIONS

A) From the airport Tababela

There are different alternatives of transportation from the airport in Tababela to Quito and therefore our property:

 

1) Taxis cost 26 USD

This fee was established by the Municipality of Quito, for passengers who is going to the downtown area. Cooperative Mariscal Sucre Airport Taxis 34th and Valley Cooperative Association (Univalle) officially offer this service. Operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Communicate to the office of taxis that you are going to the historic center and give to the driver our address.

 

2) Aeroservicios (transport direct/tourist buses) cost 8 USD per person

Aeroservicios.- It is a company that provides transportation from the International Airport Quito Mariscal Sucre to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without intermediate stops.

These units will let you inside a bus terminal located at the old airport and from there you can take a taxi (6 USD approx.) or a bus called METROBUS (USD 0.25). If you take the bus get off at the stop which name is CONSEJO PROVINCIAL and from there walk to the 10 de Agosto avenue and turn right (south) and walk along this road until you reach the Central Bank building . Being at this point, you should cross to the other side of this avenue until reaching Gran Colombia avenue turn right (south) and walk until you reach the corner of Gran Colombia avenue and Briceño street . Take the Briceño street and walk until find Los Rios street, turn right and walk about 20 meters you will see any of our signs (All this hike will take you about 15 minutes).

 

3) Public Buses cost USD 2 aprox. per person

The Metropolitan District of Quito by the Mobility Department has organized two new bus services that operate from the Terminal Interparroquial of the avenue Rio Coca in the north of the city and from the Terminal Interprovincial de Quitumbe in the south. All of this is to facilitate public access to the New Quito International Airport in Tababela. The fare from these terminales to the new airport is $2.00 and it will decrease from subsequent stops, which total 11 intermediate stops.

Operators who participate in this service are:

From the Rio Coca Terminal the consorcio SOTRANOR with a fleet of 14 units. Hours: from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm

From the Terminal Quitumbe the consorcio COSIBO with a fleet of 16 unidades.Hours: from 5:30 am to 07:00 pm

Note that this route will not affect the services offered from the north and south of the city to Cumbayá, Tumbaco, Puembo , Pifo , Tababela , Yaruquí , Checa and Quinche , which will continue to operate at the same times and frequencies and the same rates available.

 

You should take the bus which arrives to the Terminal of Rio Coca in the north of the city, these units let you inside of this Terminal and from there you can take a taxi ($5 approx.) or a bus called ECOVIA ($0.25). If you decide for the bus, you can take it on a bus stop which is next to the bus station that you arrived and from there you should take a bus called ECOVIA with direction to the center of Quito. Then you must get off at SIMON BOLIVAR bus stop, on leaving this stop you will be in Gran Colombia Avenue, turn right (south) and walk until find the corner of Gran Colombia avenue and Briceño street. Take the Briceño street and continue walking until Los Rios street, turn right and walk about 20 meters you will see any of our signs (All this hike will take about 8 minutes).

 

4) Car rental

You will find a bunch of car rental in the Mariscal Sucre International Airport.

 

 

B) From the Interprovinciales Bus Stations

Quito has two different inter-provincial bus stations:

 

1) Terminal Terrestre "Quitumbe" (south of Quito)

We recommend that you take a taxi (40 min. approx.).

If you would like to take a bus, we recommend you to take the TROLEBUS (55 min. approx.) at a bus station next to the one that you arrived . This bus must cross the center of the city, take this bus and after some time you have to get off on the Hermano Miguel stop. On leaving the stop, you will be located in the Plaza San Blas, you should walk through the San Blas square heading to the San Blas church. Along this part of the square there is a monument of a father with a child and along with this there is a street which name is Caldaz . Walk up this street until Los Rios street, turn left and walk about 30 meters you will find any of our signs (this walk will take you less than 5 minutes).

 

2) Terminal Terrestre "Carcelén" (north of Quito)

We recommend you to take a taxi (40 min. approx.).

If you would like to take a bus, we recommend you first to take a taxi to the bus station LA OFELIA ($3 approx.) and from this bus station take a bus called METROBUS heading to the center of the city. After taking the bus and ride for about 40 minutes get off at the Consejo Provincial bus stop and from there walk to the 10 de Agosto avenue and turn right (south) and continue walking along this road until you reach the Central Bank building . Being at this point, you should cross to the other side of this avenue until reaching Gran Colombia Avenue, turn right (south ) and walk until you reach the corner of Av Gran Colombia and Briceño street, continue walking for the Briceño street until Los Rios street, turn right and walk about 20 meters you will see any of our signs (All this hike will take about 15 minutes ).

 

 

C ) From the Train station

Train station "Chimbacalle"

We recommend you to take a taxi, the ride will be less than 15 minutes and the cost will be $3
